BLOCK launches DIGIVER Peer Group
First meeting of the experience exchange group on the issue of digitalization.
Digitalization is presenting particularly medium-sized businesses with major challenges in terms of processes, sales channels, business models, organization and culture. To help ensure no company has to face these challenges alone, BLOCK has founded the DIGIVER peer group (Digital around Verden). This consists of the digitalization experts from important industrial enterprises in the Verden and Bremen area. The kick-off meeting took place on January 23, 2020 in BLOCK's premises on Max-Planck-Strasse and was a great success. “At first we didn't know whether this kind of digitalization group would be accepted. But all participants involved are highly motivated and grateful for an opportunity to share their experiences with others because everyone is faced with the same challenges ", explains Dr. Dennis Kampen, General Manager Research & Innovation at BLOCK, who founded DIGIVER. DIGIVER now meets four times a year to facilitate knowledge transfer and help people learn from each other.
The next meeting is scheduled for March 2020. Apart from BLOCK Transformatoren-Elektronik GmbH, the other companies involved are VEMAG Maschinenbau GmbH, Wohlenberg Buchbindesysteme GmbH, Nabertherm GmbH, Monarcor International GmbH & Co. KG, Sikora AG, OHB Infosys GmbH, Mercedes-Benz Bremen, Lürssen Werft GmbH & Co. KG, HANSA-FLEX AG, Fischer & Plath GmbH, NORKA Norddeutsche Kunststoff- und Elektrogesellschaft Stäcker mbH & Co.
