Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google uses cookies. As a general rule, the information generated by the cookies about the use of our website by users is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
However, we only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization (so-called IP masking). This means that the user's IP address will be shortened by Google. Only in exceptional cases, for example, if there are technical failures in Europe, is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and then abbreviated there. To our knowledge, the IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other Google data.
Google uses the transmitted data on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website, to compile reports on the activities within our online offerings and to provide us with other services related to the use of the website. With the help of these analysis results we can, for example, identify particularly popular areas of our website and user preferences and use the knowledge gained to further improve our offerings and make them more targeted and interesting for you as a user.
The data processing is essentially carried out by Google. The information transmitted is used by Google to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide us with other services related to the use of the website and the web. Google continues to use the collected data for profiling purposes and links it to other data of the user such as the search history, personal accounts, the usage data of other devices and all other data that Google has about this user.
The data processing carried out in the USA entails the risk that an adequate level of protection for the processing of personal data that complies with EU standards of the GDPR cannot be consistently guaranteed. Furthermore, it cannot be ruled out that personal data processed by the service provider may also be accessed by U. S. public authorities on the basis of laws in force in the United States.
The data processed as part of Google Analytics and linked with cookies will be automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has expired is automatically deleted once a month.
For more information on data use by Google, settings and objection options, please refer to Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en
If you do not want Google Analytics to be used on our website during your visit, please do not select the cookie category "Analysis" in our cookie banner. You can revoke your consent to the processing at any time with future effect. If you want to manage your consent, click the "Reset choice of cookies" button at the bottom of the page. By clicking the button, you will be redirected to the home page and can make your selection on the banner again. This renewed consent is valid from the time of your confirmation.
Online Advertising (Retargeting/Remarketing)
We use third-party retargeting and remarketing services on our website to optimize our offerings, to analyze, optimize and operate our online offer economically.
Data is collected on our website based on a cookie tracking technology to optimize our online offering. This data is not used by us to personally identify you, but is only used to evaluate the use of our website and to address users who have already taken an interest in our content and offerings with interest-related advertising. We are convinced that displaying interest-related advertising is generally more interesting for the user than advertising that has no such personal reference. Which third-party providers we work with, how your data is processed in this context, and how you may deactivate retargeting/remarketing technologies is set out below in the following section of this data protection declaration.
Google Ads
Insofar as you have given your consent, we use the online marketing process Google Ads (conversion). In so doing, the legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 par. 1 sentence 1 letter a GDPR (consent).
Google Ads is a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). We use the remarketing function within the Google Ads service to place ads on the Google advertising network (e.g. in search results, in videos, on websites, etc.) so that they are displayed specifically to users who are presumed to be interested in the ads or the advertised products and services. For these purposes, so-called (re)marketing tags are directly integrated and executed on our and other websites on which the Google advertising network is active. In this way, an individual cookie is stored on the user's device (comparable technologies can also be used instead of cookies); this serves to recognize your browser. For this cookie, Google generally stores which websites the user has visited, what content he is interested in, and which offers the user has clicked on, as well as technical information on the browser and operating system, referring websites, times visited, and other information on the use of the online offering.
We also use the Google Ads Conversion product. With an individual "conversion cookie", we can understand how many of our visitors on our website carry out actions resulting from an advertising campaign. The information obtained with the help of cookies is used by Google to create conversion statistics for us. However, we only discover the anonymous total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. We do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.
The data processed as part of Google Ads will be deleted after 90 days. For more information on data use by Google, settings and objection options, please refer to Google's privacy policy: ( https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en ) and the personal settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).
If you do not want Google Ads to be used on our website during your visit, please do not select the cookie category "Analysis" in our cookie banner.
Google Tag Manager
For reasons of transparency, we would like to point out that we use Google Tag Manager on our website. Google Tag Manager is a solution with which website operators can manage website tags via a uniform interface and thus integrate Google services into their offer. The Google Tag Manager itself, which implements the tags, does not collect and process any personal data.
